Amari runs true to size. If you are between sizes, take the larger one.
Measure your foot
- 01Stand on a sheet of paper with your heel against a wall, wearing the socks you would wear with the shoes.
- 02Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe. That is not always the big toe.
- 03Measure from the wall edge of the paper to the mark, in centimeters.
- 04Do both feet and use the longer one. Most people have a half size difference between them.
Measure at the end of the day. Feet are slightly larger then, which is the size you actually need.

Heel to toe is the internal length of the shoe. Fits foot length is the measurement your foot should fall within.
How the lift affects fit
It does not change your size. The elevation sits under the heel and midsole, inside the shoe, so the length of the footbed is the same as a standard pair in that size. Order the size you normally wear.
What does change slightly is the feel for the first few days. Your heel sits higher than it does in a flat shoe, so there is a little more pressure across the top of the foot at first. It settles once the upper relaxes, usually within a week of regular wear. If it has not settled after that, the size is wrong and you should exchange it.
Wide feet
The lasts are cut to a standard D width. If you normally need a wide fitting, take a half size up rather than ordering your usual size, and expect the 2.75 and 3 inch styles to feel snugger across the forefoot than the lower tiers.
If it is wrong
Exchanges are free within 30 days as long as the shoes have only been worn indoors and the soles are unmarked. Keep the box. Send a message through the contact page with your order number and the size you want instead, and we will send a return label.
